I love the food, the service is fast, and the atmosphere fits right in with the overall taste of the food. With that being said, I just wish they would ride on their food truck more often.

We only found out about this place about a month ago, and were just there for the 2nd time with plans to already go back again. I believe they close in November for a couple of months, due to the fact that their seating is outside picnic tables and the weather is a changing. Do not let that deter you from even going and getting your food to go. Their burgers are quite honestly the best I've ever had, and they have quite a few to choose from. Their wings are not the typical wings you get anywhere else in that they are full pieces from the chicken. Their fries, I could honestly keep eating and eating. Had a chocolate shake with my meal on my last visit and it too was wonderful. I highly recommend this establishment. Plus, the owner and all the workers are the friendliest of people you could wish to meet. You will not be disappointed!

We visited this restaurant with two of our best friends because we saw how popular their food truck was at the City Market but didn’t want to wait in the long line. We are lifelong Rockford natives and can easily say this is the best hamburger and fries in Rockford. The beef is amazing and the garlic and salt fries are better than the place in town that is well known for its fries. The only thing that would make it better is if he could sell craft beer with it!!!

Best garlic parm wings in town!! Burgers are a hit! Won't find another taste like it in town I recommend one of the burger baskets.

The burgers and service are phenomenal and the fries.... The fries! They're the BEST fries I have ever eaten in my entire life! I'm getting hungry just thinking about the delicious food at 15th and Chris! Stop reading this and get in your car and drive straight there. You won't be sorry!

We stopped here for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. We had heard that the place gets really busy at meal times; however, there were only 5 or 6 other people there. Upon entering, we were greeted warmly by the owner; he is a wonderful guy and has a great sense of humor. He also genuinely seems to care about local businesses and the community. That is rare for Rockford; the city needs more people like him. After ordering, we were waiting in the small reception area, and the owner came out with a tray of French fries. He told us to pass them around and enjoy them while we wait; he also said that if we got tired of them to bring them back up and he would shoot some BBQ sauce on them. The fries were fantastic! They were generously seasoned with garlic and parmesan. I was blown away. Needless to say, the five of us standing there ate every last one of them.

Had the food truck appear near me very recently! Managed to get my hands on The First Lady. She was beautifully beefy and thoroughly delicious! Nothing about her that I didn't like. Food was fantastic (the fries were a big hit with my coworkers) and fast. The gentleman who helped us was friendly as well! If the store is as good as the truck, we will definitely be there soon!

Amazing burger combinations and if you don't like those, you can build your own. Chris the owner is very personable and let's you know he appreciates you and your business.

Good, but way over hyped. First things first, the fries are amazing. The seasoning actually reminds me a lot of Little Caesars crazy bread. That sounds odd, but it works out great. The burger was good too. The location is terrible, and there is no dining in. I probably won't go back because I'm never in that part of town and the burger isn't good enough to make the trip for. Plenty of other better located places that are just as good or better.

Not worth the money or the wait. The bun was horrible and the fries were fresh out of the deep freezer.

You will not find a better burger or better fries than this place. The owner and chef is a miracle worker with flavors and food anf the prices are decent. Highly recommend this place.

The garlic fries are incredibly good and addicting! Every time I’m there I see the owner who is always working it...either talking to customers, cooking, answering the phone, taking orders, sweeping the sidewalk or taking out the garbage. The hard work and pride he has put into his business shows. Great burgers and a great success story!

Food is excellent. Wait was a little long but it was worth it. Got a burger and my daughter a shake. She said it was better that Beefaroo. Trust that's saying a lot. Service was good too. No complaints.

Really good food! If you haven't tried the burgers, they're an absolute must. Hard to find specialty burgers like this around here. The wings and garlic parmesan fries are excellent too. Thanks!!

Had it for the first time, but we had heard nothing but good things about this place and they were not wrong. Their fries are really good and have a super tasty seasoning. I ordered a spicy burger (don't remember the name 😅) that was doused in hot sauce and it did not disappoint. The service was friendly and our orders were done pretty quickly. Would highly recommend!

Our bun was so old it disintegrated! Ever thing else was delicious.

This is one of the best places I've ever grabbed a burger from, and their wings and fries are to die for, so I 100% recommend the combo. He has both a food truck and a brick and mortar that feels like you're being welcomed into his home as the owner greets you, talks with you, and makes you feel more like a guest than a customer. The menu is always changing but the food is always to die for. If you're in the mood for a burger, chicken sandwich or just some of the best wings you've ever had, definitely hit him up for some great food and conversation

Outstanding burgers and fries. From what I saw of the wings coming out of there, I imagine they were great as well. We were there on Sunday August 25th, and the people running the operation around 1p were wonderful. I don't get up to Rockford too often, but would not hesitate to pull over immediately if I got near this place. Great staff, great food. Good job today guys.

Amazing food! Best burgers ever and the fries are to die for!!!! Garlic parmesan on all the fries. All the burgers and dogs have a ton of unique and delicious choices the staff is fast, friendly, and super inviting. One of my favorite places for lunch

Last night at the drive in theater in belvidere I had the 205 burger and fries I have to say that I was very impressed I have to try the other burgers there

In all honesty the burger[gyro burger]I had was ok and my fiance had the 1st lady burger and the meat was raw in the middle but we enjoyed being outside in the nice weather. I might come back and try a different burger but for now the best burger joint in Rockford is Baker Street Burgers hands down.

They are an absolute neighborhood GEM! Boogie grew up in this area and opened the best burger and shake shack in Rockford to give back. Great burgers. Full of flavor. Tons of imagination and the work ethic to back it up. Look for the food truck Summer of 2017!

If you want the best hamburger, 15th & Chris will not let you down. James has created a menu of hamburgers, chicken and a couple of "dogs" that will make you scratch your head in sheer amazement. The mix of flavors are genius. Don't forget the fries and other amazing sides. You can also create a burger with your choice of toppings and a huge selection of shake flavors. Be ready for a party atmosphere as the owner James will come out to deliver orders and mingle with the crowd. Excellent burgers and customer service will have you coming back with the goal of trying every sandwich this talented entrepreneur and chef has created.

Friendly staff and creative burger selection. I have been here a few times. The combination of sauces, ingredients, and toppings is what makes their burgers unique. taste like it comes from fresh ground beef.

Great service! We ordered three burgers and dove into the fries on the short drive home. They were amazing my son said mom if the burgers are as good as these fries I’m going to be so happy! We got home and were not disappointed the burgers were fabulous! Can’t wait to try the different burgers on the menu!

This place was packed! Locals know where to get a bada** burger! Awesome menu, full of flavor and the sweet potato fries ROCK!! Coated in a brown sugar sauce and served with a fork. Plaques everywhere for Rockford's Best Burger, fries multiple years. Definitely recommended!

Great burgers... I think they need a bigger place and more wait staff though. I was on hold for 30 minutes and then they hung up on me. While I was waiting for my order on site, other people came in with problems. They did work with everybody to make them happy. It just seems to me they really need a bigger place and more help and more cash registers maybe more Cooks in the kitchen also.

I moved to Madison where they're a bit anti franchise, and most places but from local farmers. So when I come back home, I don't get excited about going out to eat since everything tastes bad. My parents discovered this place my word of mouth since they live next to the owners cousin. This, this was some of the best BBQ cooking I've ever, EVER had. They give you just a crazy amount of food when you get a combo, everything just tastes crazy good and the fries? Even them being soggy from driving home to eat it they were still really good. Try the collie dog! It's a fun mix of everything good. I dunno if he makes his own bbq sauce but damn if it isn't incredible.This is and probably will be the only place I'm grab food from when I'm in town from now on. You just can't compete with the price for what you get.The owner is a great guy too. He comes out, introduces himself, asks your name, chills with you like you're family. This place is just awesome.
